The Opportunity

The Senior Director of Procurement and Disbursement Services will serve as a key financial leader at NAR, overseeing the full procure-to-pay function across a complex, multi-entity organization. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role manages procurement, accounts payable, card programs, and cash management, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and compliance throughout financial operations. The Senior Director will guide a team of five, build robust financial controls, and help optimize the use of NetSuite to support NAR’s modernization goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on leader who excels at driving process improvements, implementing best practices, and leading teams through organizational change. This position offers the opportunity to shape a high-performing finance function aligned with NAR’s values of integrity, accountability, and service to its members.

Location, Compensation and Benefits

This position is hybrid, with an expectation of working three days per week in the office at 430 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611.

The salary range for this role is $150,000 – $200,000, commensurate with skills, experience, and internal equity, with eligibility for a performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
