He has served respected institutions including The Doe Fund, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Emerson College, and Boston Medical Center.

Before joining Maneva Group, Chris served as an Executive Search Consultant with Development Guild. He is passionate about helping nonprofits build strong, inclusive teams and believes deeply in connecting leaders to the work that moves communities forward.

With nearly 20 years in executive search, Marissa has built a reputation for identifying transformational leaders who drive meaningful impact, and she focuses on historically marginalized communities. Her impressive national portfolio includes renowned organizations such as Environmental Law & Policy Center, American Red Cross, and Southern Poverty Law Center.

Prior to Maneva Group, Marissa served as Managing Director and Head of the Chicago office at DSG|Koya Partners.



Marissa is an active leader in her community, serving on several boards and volunteering regularly in Chicago.


Sean ensures that every search process is smooth, transparent, and highly responsive for both clients and candidates. He works closely with clients, candidates, and internal teams to keep searches on track, provide clear communication, and create a positive and professional experience throughout.

Known for his organized and proactive approach, Sean helps bring structure and clarity to complex searches. Prior to joining Maneva Group, he worked with the American Bar Association, where he supported large initiatives to drive member value and developed a strong foundation in stakeholder coordination and client service.

With 15 years of experience in recruiting and human resources, Romni Edwards has successfully placed over 500 exceptional leaders.

Romni’s career journey reflects her commitment to building impactful organizational cultures. Whether honorably serving as an HR manager with the US Coast Guard, building award-winning leadership teams in the hospitality industry, or now hiring nonprofit leaders with Maneva Group, Romni is passionate about building impactful organizational cultures and connecting leaders to their mission.

Based in Washington, DC, Maxine brings more than 10 years of experience in talent acquisition and relationship building, with deep expertise in connecting exceptional talent with mission-driven organizations. Her experience spans the nonprofit, philanthropic, and healthcare sectors, with a strong focus on identifying leaders who advance organizational impact.

Prior to Maneva Group, Maxine led Talent Acquisition at Arabella Advisors and Sunflower Services. She also recruited for Trinity Health, a large nonprofit healthcare system, and built strategic employer partnerships for Entryway, a national nonprofit creating employment and housing opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Abby Ramsey brings more than a decade of accounting experience to Maneva Group. Known for her precision, reliability, and strong customer focus, she ensures our financial operations run smoothly and transparently. Abby is deeply committed to supporting mission-driven organizations and takes pride in providing thoughtful, service-oriented suppor to our clients and team.

Blake plays a key role in mapping talent markets and identifying high-caliber leaders for mission-driven organizations. He partners closely with the search team to conduct targeted research, uncovering executives whose experience and values align with each organization’s needs.

Blake brings a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to his work, ensuring that each search is grounded in a deep understanding of the landscape and the talent within it. Outside of work, he coaches youth soccer teams because of his love of mentorship and commitment to community.

With more than 2 decades in nonprofit leadership and executive search, Cassie brings authentic passion, deep expertise, and a sincere equity lens to identifying exceptional leaders for mission-driven organizations. Her national portfolio includes organizations such as the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, GreenLight Fund, Health Care Without Harm, and Grantmakers for Education.

Prior to Maneva Group, Cassie was Co-Founder and CEO of Commongood Careers, where she oversaw more than 1,000 executive searches nationwide, and also served as Managing Director at DSG | Koya Partners.

Cassie currently serves on the Board of World Ocean School.

As a co-founder of Maneva Group, Nehal blends entrepreneurial vision with a commitment to mission-driven leadership. Leveraging his expertise in organizational structure and strategic team building, Nehal forges partnerships with nonprofits across the country to drive their missions forward.

His unique insight into capacity building and leadership stem from his prior career as a Partner in a development firm that scaled from startup to 700 employees across 5 cities.

His passion for leaving a positive impact in the world serves as a catalyst for his efforts to grow Maneva Group and its philanthropic initiatives.

Known for his person-first style, he excels at cultivating diverse, mission-aligned candidates for leadership roles in nonprofit organizations. George’s impressive portfolio includes working with clients such as Legal Services for Children and National Equity Fund.

George is a member of the LGBTQ+ community and a dedicated community leader, championing active citizenship and civic engagement.
